About Me

Hi, I'm Carla Pinto, born in May 1984 in Portugal and raised in a middle-class family where creativity and curiosity were always encouraged. From a very young age, I was drawn to the world of photography — a passion inherited from my father. In fact, I took my very first photo at just three years old.

I studied Journalism at the University of Coimbra, where I focused deeply on photography. During that time, I worked as a photojournalist for the university’s newspaper, combining my love for storytelling with the art of capturing moments.

Over the years, life took me on a few different paths, and although photography was always present, the dream of turning it into a full-time pursuit had to wait. Until now.

Today, I’m in the best phase of my life — personally and creatively — and fully committed to sharing my vision with the world. Whether it's a wedding or a divorce, a concert or a corporate event, a quiet landscape or a lively birthday party — if it's meaningful to you, it's meaningful to me. I’m here to capture your story, just as you live it.
